Diagnostic Imaging Services at Kettle Moraine Veterinary Clinic

There are times when a physical exam and/or bloodwork are not enough to fully understand your pet's internal health concerns. It is then that the Kettle Moraine Veterinary Clinic employs advanced diagnostic imaging, such as radiography and ultrasonography, to get a view of the inner-workings of your pet's body.

Radiology (X-rays)
X-ray beams are most commonly utilized to view bones, lungs, intestinal contents, the size of the heart, and the bladder of your dog or cat. Think of a radiograph much like a photograph - a quick snapshot of your pet's inside.

Ultrasonography (Ultrasound)
Ultrasonic waves are utilized in obtaining urine samples, viewing the function and valves of the heart, detecting internal masses, and showing differences in various organ tissues.  Just like when a pregnant person has an ultrasound, this shows a live, moving video of the inside of your pet.
